Our group sighed the cooperative agreement of LED project with TaiYuan Science and Technology University, ShanXi province at Shanghai in December 7th, 2008. We know that our group possesses capital ,while the university possesses technology.So that the project makes the two advantages together, which promotes the project “Horsepower White Light LED Applies Epitaxial Slice and Chip”to industrialize.Meanwhile, the two parties will work together for the “LED horsepower light research center ”and “production base”.
As a new light resourse, the LED developed in late 20th century. The industry is made up of 3 parts, which are the technology of epitaxial slice, the technology of chip and the technology of package. Since the chip and epitaxial slice demand of higher technology , the development in our country is slower than the foreign countries. The foreign developed countries have held the monopoly on epitaxial slice technology for many years.
In order to accelerate the construction and development of LED Industry , our government have considered LED Industry as one of “ 31 electronic products our country encourage to develope” and one of “20 electronic products our country encourage foreign trader to invest”, additionally, our government have started “semi-conductor lighting industry” plan in all of our country. High brightness blue and green LED Epitaxial Wafers project belong to the scope of hi-technology in world, many research organizations and manufacturers stopped their step when facing to the Epitaxial Wafers techonology barrier.
The successful cooperation of this time will have a big active effect on industrial upgrading of our company and industrial restructuring of our city. |
